“A Hidden Gem” is an non-profit organization that takes pride in helping battered women with children in a variety of ways. We provide battered women and their children a safe place to live, while providing resources needed to get back on their feet, and start a new and fulfilling life. Most people are forced to leave without any of their belongings, so we provide all of the necessities, which include clothing, toiletries, and shoes. We will also provide counseling services for those individuals who suffer from depression and other mental health issues, that result from their abusive situations. At “A Hidden Gem”, we are passionate about helping women take their lives back, one step at a time.
The mission of “A Hidden Gem” is to support, educate and train women who have been battered, abused and are responsible for the well being of a minor child and/or minor children. “A Hidden Gem” will provide a safe haven for those who have reached out to the organization for assistance and a secure place to reside until matters are sorted out for each individual emotionally, mentally, physically and financially.
